The Imperials take away Daye's mechanical braces, leaving him unable to walk, and destroy his monolens, rendering him practically blind. Meanwhile, Tinian and Chenlambec locate Agapos and kidnap him, leaving behind traces of his blood to make it appear that he was killed. Once safely aboard the Wroshyr, Tinian explains to Agapos that they are with the Rebellion and will help him escape from the Empire and go into hiding. One of the Imperial soldiers who is a Rebel double agent frees Daye and his companions and gets them to a ship. Daye learns a Sunesi healing technique that utilizes the Force from a Sunesi onboard the ship and manages to restore vision to his damaged eye. They arrive at the Rebel station just in time to see the Wroshyr departing. On the station, Daye is introduced to Agapos IX and he asks the priest to take him on as a disciple and teach him to heal himself with the Force. Agapos agrees, but warns him that someday he will ask a difficult penance from him. 41010: The Official Star Wars Adventure Journal No. 10
