Description:
The speed and visceral energy of A New Hope's climactic Death Star trench race come to life in this exclusive new artwork print illustrated by celebrated Star Wars artist John Alvin.

Barreling down the narrow Death Star chasm at breakneck speed, Luke's X-wing scrapes through a volley of blasts from Vader's pressing TIE fighter, knocking Artoo from the fight and nearly ending the Rebellion's last hope for escape. As Vader locks on and fires off a second round, a blast from above incinerates his wingman -- Han Solo's Falcon bears down on the fighters, giving Luke just enough time to target the exhaust port.

Though this scene spans several seconds in the actual film, Alvin has masterfully compressed it all into a single image that captures the spirit of one of the saga's most thrilling moments. In addition, the viewer becomes part of the action with a point of view just forward of the racing ships -- the horizon careens hard to the right causing a dizzying sense of speed and motion. This is Star Wars illustration at its best.

This exclusive fine art lithograph is only available for you here, and comes in an extremely limited edition size of just 350. Image size measures a broad 26"x34", which expands to 32"x40" with matte (included).

This is a rare chance to get a fantastic limited artwork by a veteran Star Wars artist -- the original now resides in the personal collection of Lucasfilm.
