The Kotobukiya Shock Trooper vinyl statue is limited to 1,000 units with the StarWarsShop.com exclusive sticker on the product packaging indicating this edition size and exclusivity. In Japan, the Shock Trooper will be available exclusively through Toys R Us with a limited run of 1,000, featuring a Toys R Us sticker on packaging.
One of the most elite in the clone trooper ranks, the shock troopers are distinguished by the scarlet ornamentation on their armor and serve as Palpatine's personal guard on Coruscant and for offworld excursions. In Revenge of the Sith, shock troopers are seen searching for Yoda following his battle with Palpatine in the Galactic Senate chamber, and also on Mustafar accompanying the Emperor to retrieve the scorched body of his new apprentice. As we have learned from Palpatine's royal guards, red seems to be the color of choice for those regiments worthy of distinction in his ranks.
This new Koto edition, which is limited to an edition size of 1,000 in the U.S., measures approximately 12" tall with the stand, and consists of ten easy-to-assemble fully painted pieces.
