There were a small number originally signed and numbered by the artist for sale at SuperSnipe, a New York comic art gallery. These unsigned pieces found in the Marketing archives at Skywalker Ranch are the last of the lot. The lithograph measures 19" x 25" framed (18" x 24" unframed) and is beautifully set in a black wood frame with plexiglass and a ¼" spacer between the plastic and the artwork to give depth to the piece. This lithograph is concept artist Ralph McQuarrie's original version of a TIE fighter pursuing an X-wing fighter in the Death Star trench. McQuarrie's paintings helped visualize what look George Lucas wanted for the film. These items are part of a recent find in the Marketing archives at Skywalker Ranch. Some items may not be in perfect mint condition, but all are at least in very good shape; price has been adjusted accordingly. Extremely limited quantity.
